Unbundling
Developments defined by the Italian Authority for Electricity and Gas (AEEG) requires both Retail and Distribution Companies to deeply review their own IT systems in order to guarantee data and operative process separation.
Furthermore Utilities must guarantee an equal treatment to all the different operators by making functionalities and information available among the different processes.
The purpose is allowing the Distribution Companies to manage their relationships with the Retail companies operating on their grid in a equal and uniform manner.
In such a structured pattern, e-utile can support its customers through:
• Business Process Reengineering, allowing the definition of a new approach in operative models for both Distribution and Retail Companies
• preexisting systems adjustment, as an alternative to the implementation of brand new solution, compliant to the regulation’s principles.
e-utile’s approach moves the solution towards the definition of a new operative model, independent from technological and applicative architectures adopted by different customers.
System activities aim to implement the new unbundled models into application and communication platforms within the application map.
