Waste collection: from tax to tariff

Public opinion is increasingly sensitive to the subject of separate waste collection and disposal, and now requires Utilities to innovate management of the service.
At the same time, local administrations are interested in systems that allows for a suitable attribution of costs in relation to the effective use of the collection service.

Technology supports utilities working in environmental management by providing highly efficient IT solutions for a correct attribution of costs according to the quantity of waste effectively collected.

Thanks to its skills in processes and technologies, e-utile is able to support the Utility in the adoption of the Environmental Hygiene Tariff (TIA), offering solutions both for the calculation and attribution of waste delivered and to invoice the service.

green_worldHighly efficient solutions allow for the correct attribution of costs according to the quantity and type of waste effectively delivered.
A limited investment will, in fact, allow for the quantification of the waste handed over by each citizen, as well as optimally managing bins and vehicles involved on the field, which can be identified by means of RFiD tags.

Furthermore, the experience accrued over the years, with the implementation of invoicing solutions on different platforms (SAP, IS-U, etc.) allows for the management of the different invoicing models, integrating the databases of the environmental services with those of other services, thereby arranging for a single invoicing system and, potentially, with a view to increasing system efficiency and optimising front and back office transactions for all services.

The system performance is therefore optimised, with a reduction of the operative time required to manage new activations, handovers, transfers of name, cessations and terminations.
